“Our guide in Patagonia was Andre Labarca, whom I believe also runs private trips. He can be reached on WhatsApp. Fabulous guide, incredible knowledge. Might be willing to schedule and reserve everything for you if you don't want a guide.” - MT Sobek
“I hiked for two weeks in Patagonia in February with MT Sobek, a company through whom I've also been to the Pyrenees and the Andes. They will run a private trip for you with a minimum number of people, or you can sign up for one of their scheduled outings - here's a link to their Patagonia tours.” - Alluring Americas added 7 June 2024

2. Dining Recommendations
Dining in Buenos Aires:
- Cabana Las Lilas
- Parrilla Don Julio in Palermo
- La Brigada Parrilla
- La Cabrera
- Palermo(made up of Palermo Hollywood, Palermo Soho and Viejo) – we love it, its filled with shops and restaurants and its quite trendy. There are some older parts and some very new up-and-coming parts, especially in the Hollywood area as can be witnessed by the modern hotels shooting up.
- Recoleta– it’s very central and it’s a beautiful neighbourhood. It reminds me of Tel Aviv’s quitter streets, tree-lined and old-worldly.
Dining in Mendoza:
- 1884 Restaurante - fantastic restauant
- Azafran - good restaurant
- Fournier - incredible winery
